Product Notes

Domaine Lafage Muscat de Rivesaltes is a French dessert wine produced in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. This sweet wine is made from a blend of Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains and Muscat of Alexandria grapes that are harvested at their peak ripeness to preserve their natural sweetness and fragrant aroma. The intense bouquet of this wine is a blend of floral and fruity aromas, including rose, lychee, apricot, and orange blossom. The palate is balanced and refreshing, with a sweet and lively texture that delivers a complex mix of honey, peach, and citrus flavors. This wine pairs perfectly with light desserts, such as fruit tarts, cheesecake, or sorbet.

About the Winery

Domaine Lafage

Located in Perpignan, France, the Domaine Lafage Wine brand was set up by Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage. Their premium wines are made from grapes cultivated across 160 hectares of vineyards located near the Mediterranean Sea and the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains. The warm, dry climate of these vineyards plays a very important role in the full-flavoured quality of the grapes. The climate, soil quality and the passion of the passion of the farmers make this region a haven for growing grape varietals such as Chardonnay, Grenache, Rousanne, Marsanne, Syrah, Mourvedre and Carignan.
