Product Notes

E. Guigal Côtes du Rhône Rouge is an exquisite red wine from the southern Rhône valley region in France. This wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, hand-picked by experienced winemakers to produce the perfect taste and texture. E. Guigal Côtes du Rhône Rouge has a deep ruby red color with aromas of spicy black fruits like cherry, blackcurrant, and plum mixed with hints of vanilla and oak. The taste is rich and savory, with a balanced acidity and soft tannins that complement the flavors of ripe red fruit, spices, and herbs. This wine is perfect with roasted meats, hearty stews, or strong cheeses.

About the Winery

E. Guigal

E Guigal or Etienne Guigal is one of the most popular and historic wine labels today. This wine label's history dates back to 1946, when Etienne Guigal established this brand in the small and heritage-rich village of Ampuis in the Cote-Rotie appellation. The vines in this particular appellation are characterised by their age. The average age of these vines is around 2400 years! At the young age of 14, Etienne Guigal had already vinified 67 harvests on this appellation.
