Product Notes

Château du Cèdre Le Cèdre Cahors is a rich and complex red wine that emanates from the beautiful region of Cahors in France. Made from 100% Malbec grapes, this wine represents the epitome of craftsmanship and a classic French winemaking tradition. With its deep garnet color, aromas of dark fruits, mocha, and hints of spice, this wine is an extremely well-balanced, bold, and full-bodied red. On the palate, it is smooth and juicy, with flavors of black cherry, blackberry, and a touch of vanilla, leading to a refined finish. Enjoy this wine with hearty meat dishes and cheeses, or simply sip and appreciate its depth and complexity.

About the Winery

Château du Cèdre

Located in the southwestern part of France in Cahors, the Chateau du Cedre wine brand has a rich history that dates back to as early as 1958. It was during this time that Leon Verhaeghe moved to Cahors from Flanders. He, along with wife, Marie-Therese and son, Charles, started viticulture in a farm in Cahors on three small plots.
