Tasting Note

Intense straw yellow in colour. On the nose, this wine is extremely complex and rich. Aromas of exotic fruit combine perfectly with notes of bergamot, citrus peel and sweet almond. Full-bodied, structured and layered, the palate has a refreshing savoury minerality followed by a long, complex finish, fruity notes of orange, white peaches closing on a lovely vegetal hint of sage and white pepper.

Product Notes

Livio Felluga Terre Alte is a flagship wine from Livio Felluga Winery, one of the oldest and most renowned wineries in Italy. This exceptional wine is a blend of carefully selected grapes, including Friulano, Pinot Bianco, and Sauvignon Blanc, grown in the vineyards in the Collio region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. With its golden yellow color, Livio Felluga Terre Alte offers a rich and complex bouquet of ripe fruits, floral notes, and hints of honey and vanilla. The palate of this wine is full-bodied with an excellent balance of acidity, minerality, and flavors of tropical fruits and spices. It is a perfect wine to pair with seafood, poultry, or light pasta dishes and is highly recommended for special occasions.

About the Winery

Livio Felluga

After the Second World War, the people of the countryside village of Friuli in Italy had moved to different places. The place, which was once a wine-rich area, lost its charm after the war. It took an expert winemaker in the name of Livio Felluga to re-establish the wine culture of this place during 1956. Today, the wines of Livio Felluga are known for their exceptional winemaking style. Only the choicest of estate-grown grapes are used for this process.
