Product Notes

Masciarelli Gianni Masciarelli Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a red wine produced in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It is made from the Montepulciano grape, which is known for producing full-bodied and intense red wines. The wine has a deep ruby color and aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and spices such as black pepper and cinnamon. On the palate, it offers a robust and rich flavor with a balanced acidity and velvety tannins. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasing aftertaste of dark fruit and vanilla. This wine is perfect to pair with meat dishes or hard cheeses. Masciarelli Gianni Masciarelli Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a cellar-worthy wine that can be enjoyed now or aged for up to 10 years.

About the Winery

Masciarelli

Established in 1981, Masciarelli originated from the entrepreneurial institution set up by Gianni Masciarelli. The winery’s history begins with the founder’s business ventures in the region at that time. Ever since he got invested in the line of vine growing and winemaking, three things have never left his side. They are his love for the land, his wife, and his family.
