The palate is richly structured and complex with pervasive mineral overtones, notes of flint and hydrocarbons. A lingering finish. It develops gently, designed for longevity.

Made from 100% Turbiana grapes grown in the prestigious Lugana region, this wine boasts notes of ripe peach, citrus, and white flowers. The unique terroir of the vineyard, characterized by clay and limestone soils, lends complexity and depth to the wine. Aging in French oak barrels for 12 months adds layers of spice, vanilla, and toasted almond to the palate. The result is a beautifully balanced wine with a smooth, velvety texture and a long, satisfying finish. Ottella Lugana Riserva Molceo is truly a masterpiece of winemaking craftsmanship.

About the Winery

Ottella

Ottella is a family-owned estate in the Lugana DOC, south of Lake Garda, straddling the border of Veneto and Lombardy. The Montresor family has farmed here for generations, with documented wine production dating back to the early 20th century. A pivotal figure was Lodovico Montresor, who helped establish the Lugana DOC in 1967 and positioned Ottella among its leading quality producers. Today the winery is run by brothers Francesco and Michele Montresor, combining tradition with a contemporary, design-focused approach.
