Tasting Note

Ruby red in colour, with a full and mellow bouquet of blueberry, violet and blackcurrant, complemented by classic notes of undergrowth and humus. Delicate aromas of oregano and thyme develop into elegant balsamic nuances. Intense, vigorous and persistent on the palate, with full-bodied yet velvety tannins, balanced by subtle herbal and earthy notes and a long, harmonious finish.

Product Notes

Bottega Merlot Trevenezie is a rich and full-bodied red wine hailing from the Veneto region of Italy. This exquisite wine is made from Merlot grapes, known for their soft tannins and velvety texture. The wine displays a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe red fruits, vanilla, and hints of spice. On the palate, Bottega Merlot Trevenezie offers flavors of black cherries, plums, and a touch of chocolate, with a smooth and lingering finish. This well-balanced wine pairs perfectly with hearty dishes such as roasted meats, pasta with rich sauces, or aged cheeses. Bottega Merlot Trevenezie is a true gem in the world of Italian wines, sure to impress even the most discerning palates.

About the Winery

Bottega

The premium Italian wine brand was launched as early as 1635. Andrea, considered as the forefather of the Bottega brand, cultivated the first vine in the scenic area of Refrontolo and there was no looking back for the brand after that. Many years later, the Bottega family started taking the company to great heights and held the distinction of bringing many innovations in the wine market- the most famous of them being the introduction of the first ever monovariety grappa.
