Product Notes

Rapaura Springs Marlborough Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is a sophisticated and complex wine that boasts an impressive balance of fruit and acidity. This award-winning wine is made from premium quality grapes in the renowned Marlborough region of New Zealand, where the warm days and cold nights create the ideal climate for Sauvignon Blanc. The nose is fragrant with vibrant tropical and citrus aromas, while the palate is full-bodied and well-structured with a crisp acidity and a lingering finish. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to seafood dishes or can be simply enjoyed on its own, making it a must-try for all white wine lovers.

About the Winery

Rapaura Springs

The history of Rapaura Springs remains closely associated and knitted with its founding family, the Neylon family. The story of the household begins with Mary and Richard Neylon. In 1862, they sent Margaret and Mary, two of their daughters, from Ireland to New Zealand. In 1867, the couple reached Dunedin in Southern New Zealand with the rest of their children. It was how their start in the country ensued and progressed. In 1883, the family shifted to Nightcaps located in Southland. They began to prospect for gold and coal. Alongside, they began to farm the land that exists to this day.
