Product Notes

Quinta do Crasto Reserva Old Vines Douro D.O.C. is a luxurious wine produced in the Douro Valley region of Portugal. The grapes are carefully selected from 70-year-old vines grown using traditional farming techniques. This results in a wine with depth, complexity, and character that only vineyards with such respected old vines can deliver. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, which lend a touch of vanilla, spice and smoky notes to this already impressive wine. The palate is dominated by blackcurrant, cassis, and dark cherry with elegant tannins and a long, lingering finish. This exceptional wine is best paired with hearty meat dishes, such as roasted or grilled lamb or beef.

About the Winery

Quinta do Crasto

You can find the huge vineyards of Quinta do Crasto in the strategic location of Douro Demarcated Region, where the family-owned estates have been in existence for over 100 years. The history of this wine label dates back to as early as 1615!
