Tasting Note

Pale gold in colour with youthful flashes of lime green, the nose is aromatic with pungent 'green' aromas of bell pepper and fresh crushed herbs. On the palate the wine is medium bodied and dry with a mouthwatering streak of minerals, hints of sub-tropical fruit and a layer of grassy gooseberry flavours that merge sublimely with the limey, crisp finish. Elegant and lengthy.

On the palate, it is crisp and vibrant with flavors of lime, lemon zest and passionfruit, backed by a vibrant acidity. The grapes for this wine are handpicked from the Sutherland Estate in the Elgin Valley of South Africa, and the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks. About the Winery

Thelema

The family-owned Thelema Mountain Vineyards are located in the highly wine-rich area of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Thelema wines and Sutherland wines are created from the grapes produced at these vineyards. The Thelema vineyards are located towards the south east of Simonsberg Mountain at an altitude of about 530m above sea level. This altitude enables in growing high quality and premium grapes.
