Tasting Note

This Amontillado, selected from the criaderas in Mil Pesetas, should be served lightly chilled in white wine glasses. A savoury wine with both biological and oxidative ageing, a mature amontillado is one of the most versatile wines in existence. This Amontillado harmonises with nearly all types of food and is always perfect as an aperitif.

Product Notes

Barbadillo Criadera Selection Amontillado En Rama is a rare and exclusive sherry wine that offers a truly unique and delightful tasting experience. Made by the renowned Bodegas Barbadillo in Jerez, Spain, this wine is a true testament to the artistry of traditional sherry production. It is crafted using the solera and criadera aging system, resulting in a complex and nuanced flavor profile. The wine is aged in oak barrels, allowing it to develop intense aromas of toasted nuts, dried fruits, and a touch of sea salt. Its delicate and elegant character is best enjoyed as an aperitif, paired with nuts, olives, or cured meats. Barbadillo Criadera Selection Amontillado En Rama is a true gem for sherry enthusiasts looking to experience the authentic taste of Jerez.
