Tasting Note

At first swirl, aromatics of honeydew, watermelon and pineapple spring forward from the glass with floral notes of jasmine and honeysuckle. On the palate, the wine has refreshing flavours of cucumber, lime and nectarine with hints of geranium, sweet basil and ripe orange. The mouthfeel is soft yet inviting, with a lively acidity. This classic, Loire Valley-style wine is excellent when paired with fresh oysters, seafood, or just about anything!

Product Notes

Dry Creek Vineyard Clarksburg Chenin Blanc is a delightful white wine with a perfect balance of crisp acidity and rich fruit flavors. This Chenin Blanc is sourced from the Clarksburg region in California, known for producing high-quality grapes. The wine opens with aromas of tropical fruits and citrus, leading to flavors of pear, peach, and honeydew melon on the palate. It is a refreshing and well-rounded wine, with a clean, lingering finish. Perfect for a warm summer day or paired with light seafood dishes, this Chenin Blanc is a versatile and enjoyable choice for any occasion.

About the Winery

Dry Creek Vineyard

Dry Creek Vineyard was established in the year 1972 by David Stare. In the Dry Creek Valley, there were only a few family-owned wine estates until then. However, David wanted to go beyond this and make the northern Sonoma County one of the premium wine-growing regions in the world. As a result, he was one of the first winemakers to setup a Loire Valley inspired winery here.
