Tasting Note

The elegant 2019 Estate Chardonnay shows the softness that came with a moderate vintage. Lovely notes of stone fruit, particularly apricot, lemon, and an orange creamsicle finish make for a very complete and pleasurable experience.

Product Notes

Hudson Chardonnay is a rich and flavorful wine that hails from the Hudson Vineyards in Napa Valley, California. The wine is well-balanced, with vibrant acidity and a lush mouthfeel that adds to its complexity and depth. This wine is aged in French oak barrels and features notes of honey, vanilla, and tropical fruit, which blend together to create a creamy finish. Hudson Chardonnay is the perfect wine for those who enjoy full-bodied, flavorful whites that pair well with a variety of dishes, including seafood, chicken, and pork. Overall, this wine is an exquisite representation of the quality that California wines are known for.

About the Winery

Hudson

The story and history of Hudson remain closely linked with the owner and founder of the winery, Robert Hudson. In 1981, Robert purchased the ranch on which the wine estate sits today. Soon, he began his endeavour and mission of planting several grapevine varieties, giving rise to the renowned winery we see today. Hudson deals with and handles several unusual vine categories and kinds. They include Friulano, Aleatico, Arneis, Verdejo, Ribolla Gialla, Vermentino, and Albariño.
