Tasting Note

Aromas of hot stones, Maraschino Cherries, dried penny royal. It is elegant, with a structure that begs for patience and, with some more air, the texture and flavors of white pepper and orange peel emerge with gaining intensity

Product Notes

Anthill Farms Winery Abbey-Harris Pinot Noir is an outstanding red wine that is made from the finest Pinot Noir grapes. This wine is a true expression of the terroir of the North Coast of California. The Abbey-Harris vineyard is located in the Russian River Valley and has a unique, cool-climate microclimate that is perfect for growing Pinot Noir. The wine is characterised by its intense aromas of dark berries, cherry, and forest floor, that are followed by a complex palate of ripe, juicy fruit, and fine tannins. This wine is excellent with grilled meat, such as lamb, duck or venison, and is perfect for special occasions and celebrations.

About the Winery

Anthill Farms Winery

Anthill Farms Winery was established in 2004 in California. A group of friends, working at Williams-Selyem, got together to form the Anthill Farms Winery in this region. They had enough winemaking experience and they had visited many wine-rich terroirs in California, Oregon and Virginia before zeroing on this particular location for their label.
