Tasting Note

Bright ruby in the glass, the aromatics concentrate - cherries, raspberries, dried rose petals, a touch of sweet oak and a hint of forest floor. The entry is silky with a classic Pinot Noir palate: loads of ripe red fruit, savory under tones and a principled backbone of acidity. Balanced, lean and complex, the wine finishes softly at length

Product Notes

Orin Swift Slander is a bold and complex red blend that tantalizes the senses with its intense flavors and aromas. This California wine boasts a deep ruby color and a bouquet of ripe blackberries, blueberries, and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine impresses with its robust tannins and rich, full-bodied texture. Notes of espresso, black cherry, and vanilla interplay with hints of smoke, leather, and spice. The finish is long and lingers with a pleasant touch of acidity. Orin Swift Slander is an impressive wine that deserves a spot on any connoisseur's list of top red blends. So, it can be a perfect choice for anyone looking for a wine to savor and enjoy.

About the Winery

Orin Swift

The history and venture of Orin Swift date back to as late as 1995 and begins with winemaker David Swift Phinney. David had been involved in the winemaking business for a long time, working in renowned wineries of the Napa Valley region. The experience and know-how he gained from his hands-on job at these places, including Whitehall Lane and Robert Mondavi Winery, helped him significantly later on to manage Orin Swift. Even as a student, he took up a friend’s offer and visited Florence, Italy. There, he got introduced to the wonders of wine. He also learnt the methods and practices of winemaking, getting him hooked.
