Tasting Note

Delicate, lifted aromas of rose petals, orange pith, crushed pomegranate, and raspberries, with the essence of where the forest meets the ocean fill the bowl. Wild strawberries, cool-coastal forest, wet rock, sea moss, crushed raspberries and blood orange linger. On the palate, wild strawberries, orange pith, faint violet flowers and distant notes of white tea lead to a seemingly endless finish.

Raen Winery Fort Ross Seaview - Sea Field Vineyard Pinot Noir is a rich and elegant wine that captures the essence of the rugged coastal terroir where the grapes are grown. This Pinot Noir is distinguished by its smooth and velvety texture, with flavors of dark berries, plum, and hints of spice and earthiness. The wine is handcrafted in small batches, using grapes that are carefully selected, sorted, and fermented to maximize their unique flavors and aromas. The Sea Field Vineyard is located on a steep incline and faces the cooling winds of the Pacific Ocean. This leads to a longer growing season and results in a wine with a refined and complex character that truly reflects the unique terrain from which it comes.

Raen Winery

Established in 2013, Raen Winery is a vineyard of Pinot Noir that focuses on yielding and producing lifted and aromatic wines of elegance and finesse. Brothers Dante Mondavi and Carlo Mondavi were the founders of the winery. The venture started when they decided to operate independently after working under their father in his job of building Continuum.
