Product Notes

Susana Balbo Signature Cabernet Sauvignon is an outstanding Argentine wine that showcases the craftsmanship and passion of renowned winemaker Susana Balbo. This full-bodied red wine is made from hand-selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the high-altitude vineyards of Mendoza. The result is a deep ruby-colored wine with intense aromas of blackberries, plums, and tobacco, along with hints of spices and vanilla. On the palate, it is rich and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a long-lasting finish. This exceptional wine pairs beautifully with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses. Susana Balbo Signature Cabernet Sauvignon is a true representation of Argentine winemaking excellence.

About the Winery

Susana Balbo

Founded in 1999 by Susana Balbo, Argentina’s first female winemaker, Susana Balbo Wines has become one of the country’s most respected family-owned wineries. After more than two decades of consulting for prestigious wineries across Argentina and internationally, Balbo established her own estate in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, at the foothills of the Andes in Mendoza. The winery was built around her vision of producing elegant, terroir-driven wines that combine innovation with a deep respect for Argentina’s diverse vineyard sites. Today, the business remains family-owned, with Susana’s children, José Lovaglio Balbo and Ana Lovaglio, playing key roles in winemaking, innovation and marketing, ensuring continuity into the next generation.
