Tasting Note

This is an intense garnet-red colour, with an intense and persistent bouquet of mulberries, plums, blueberries and blackcurrants with cherry hints. Incredibly fleshy and powerful texture, and thanks to its succinct fruit acidity, this Amarone Valpolicella Classico Riserva is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. A hint of cherry and almondy bitterness on the finish.

Product Notes

Biscardo Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva is a luxurious red wine with a deep ruby color and complex flavors. Made from carefully selected Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, this wine is aged for a minimum of four years, resulting in a rich and full-bodied taste. The aroma is a decadent blend of dark cherries, plums, coffee, and spice, while the palate offers bold notes of ripe fruits, tobacco, and chocolate. The velvety tannins and long, lingering finish make this wine a perfect choice for special occasions or pairings with hearty dishes like beef stew or roasted game.

About the Winery

Biscardo

The story and history of Biscardo began towards the late 1800s. The Biscardo remained a reputed name in the textile and wine industries during the 1800s. The latter started with the endeavour and venture of Francesco Biscardo. In 1840, Francesco began wine production in the basement of a coaching house he used for his guests. Later, Pietro Biscardo, with Terenzio, his son, took over the management and ownership of the family business in 1867. It started the wine legacy within the family.
