Product Notes

Oenops Limniona wine is a vibrant and elegant red wine that hails from the lush vineyards of Greece. Made from the indigenous Limniona grape variety, this wine is a true representation of the unique terroir of the region. With its deep ruby color and complex aromas of black cherry, currant, and spice, Oenops Limniona is a sensory delight from the first sip to the last. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with flavors of dark fruits, cedar, and a hint of earthiness. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of finesse and sophistication. Perfect for pairing with roasted lamb or aged cheeses, Oenops Limniona is a standout wine that is sure to impress even the most discerning wine connoisseur.

About the Winery

Oenops

Oenops Wines is one of Greece’s most exciting modern wine projects, built on a simple but bold idea: to express the country’s native grapes through minimal intervention and meticulously chosen vineyard sites. Founded in 2015 by talented winemaker Nikos Karatzas, Oenops works without owning vineyards, instead partnering with small growers across northern Greece. These growers farm old, often ungrafted vines in regions such as Drama, Macedonia and Thrace, providing fruit of exceptional character and purity.
