Product Notes

E. Guigal Hermitage Blanc is a fine wine produced by the renowned winery of E. Guigal in the Northern Rhone Valley of France. This wine is made from a blend of grapes such as Marsanne and Roussanne, carefully selected from the Hermitage hillside vineyards. It is a light yellow-colored wine with a delicate, fruity aroma of peach, apricot, and citrus fruits. On the palate, it is full-bodied, smooth, and well-balanced, with flavors of honey, lemon, and floral notes. This wine is aged in oak barrels for about a year, imparting subtle hints of vanilla and toasted nuts in the finish. E. Guigal Hermitage Blanc is a perfect companion to rich seafood dishes, creamy desserts, and soft cheeses.

About the Winery

E. Guigal

E Guigal or Etienne Guigal is one of the most popular and historic wine labels today. This wine label's history dates back to 1946, when Etienne Guigal established this brand in the small and heritage-rich village of Ampuis in the Cote-Rotie appellation. The vines in this particular appellation are characterised by their age. The average age of these vines is around 2400 years! At the young age of 14, Etienne Guigal had already vinified 67 harvests on this appellation.
