Product Notes

Stellenrust Pinotage is a classic example of a uniquely South African wine. This deep-red wine boasts a bouquet of dark fruit, chocolate, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied with strong tannins and balanced acidity. The wine is aged in oak barrels which impart complex flavors of smoky char and toasted cedar. The striking aspect of Stellenrust Pinotage is the balance between the power of the tannins and the delicate fruit flavors. It pairs wonderfully with a variety of rich foods such as grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses. The legendary Stellenrust Estate has done an outstanding job of showcasing South Africa's signature grape in this beautifully crafted Pinotage.
