Tasting Note

A true 'Mountain Brunello' with an intense and expressive bouquet of wild berries layered with vanilla, violet, rose petals and a lick of spice. The complex and richly-fruited palate is framed by glossy tannins, while mineral undertones support a core of wild red fruits. Concentrated, elegant and full of finesse.

Product Notes

Carpineto Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG is a prestigious and complex Italian wine that exemplifies the epitome of quality and tradition. This exceptional Brunello is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes grown in the renowned Montalcino region of Tuscany. It showcases a deep ruby red color and a bold, full-bodied taste with intense flavors of ripe dark fruits, spice, and earthy notes. Aged for a minimum of four years before release, this wine has a harmonious balance of tannins and acidity, creating a velvety smooth finish. Carpineto Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG is a truly remarkable wine that embodies the essence of Italian winemaking excellence.

About the Winery

Carpineto

It was the winemaking passion of wine experts, Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo that resulted in the birth of the Italian wine label, Carpineto in the year 1967. The name of the brand is inspired by the Greek word, carpos, which means fruit. Today, the younger generation of these experts are doing their best to take the legacy of the brand forward, in their own style, without compromising on the traditional winemaking methods.
