Product Notes

Clos Culombu Rouge is a rich and full-bodied red wine produced in the Corsican region of France. Made from a blend of indigenous grape varieties, including Sciaccarellu, Niellucciu, and Grenache, this wine boasts a deep ruby color and a complex aroma of dark fruit, leather, and spice. On the palate, it reveals a velvety texture and a robust flavor profile, with notes of black cherry, raspberry, tobacco, and vanilla. Well-structured and balanced, Clos Culombu Rouge pairs well with hearty meat dishes, such as roasted lamb or beef stews, and is best served at room temperature.

About the Winery

Clos Culombu

The French wine label of Clos Culombu is the result of one passionate wine enthusiast from the Suzzoni family. Paul Suzzoni wanted to make the best use of the rich soil quality found in the nearby areas of Lumiu and Montegrosso and create high-quality wines from the place. As a result, he, under the able guidance of his father, planted the first Niellucciu vines here in 1973.
