Tasting Note

Vibrant red with a purple edge. Alluring nose of red and dark fruits, violets and a touch of graphite. The Syrah is quite spicy with texture and the Gamay Noir is crunchy, vibrant and deeply perfumed. Supple, rich, blue fruits, earth and forest, textural and very delicious.

Product Notes

De Bortoli La Boheme Act 4 Syrah Gamay is a delicious blend of 70% Shiraz (Syrah) and 30% Gamay grapes grown in Victoria, Australia. The wine is named after the final act of the famous Italian opera "La Bohème," and it perfectly captures the intense passion and drama of the performance.

The wine features a bold, fruity flavour signature to Shiraz, while the Gamay grapes add a lightness to the wine with their lively cherry and raspberry notes. This red wine has a complex aroma, with fragrances of blackcurrant, black cherry, and earth. It has a smooth texture with medium tannins and a medium finish.

De Bortoli La Boheme Act 4 Syrah Gamay is an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys an excellent, well-balanced red wine with just a touch of sweetness. It pairs perfectly with meat dishes, cheese or pasta.
