Tasting Note

The bouquet shows Paringa’s distinctive savoury plum and spicy, cracked black pepper aromas. On the palate the rich, spicy plum, blackberry and liquorice characters combine with fine grained tannins, providing excellent structure, texture and length.

Product Notes

Paringa Estate's Single Vineyard Shiraz is a premium Australian wine crafted from grapes grown in the estate's idyllic Mornington Peninsula vineyard. The vineyard's unique location, soil composition, and dedicated viticulture practices culminate in a rich, full-bodied wine with intense fruit flavors. The Shiraz is a true reflection of its terroir, offering notes of blackberry, dark chocolate, and pepper alongside a subtle oak spice. The tannins are firm but velvety, lending structure to the wine's complex layers of flavor. This wine is best enjoyed with hearty meat dishes, aged cheeses, or on its own as a luxurious treat. Paringa Estate's Single Vineyard Shiraz is the embodiment of the estate's philosophy of quality and excellence, representing the best of Australian winemaking.

About the Winery

Paringa Estate

The Paringa Estate is one of the finest and most renowned wineries in Australia. Its establishment started with the 1980 vintage of Seville Estate Shiraz that Lindsay McCall tasted in a restaurant in 1983. The wine astonished him as he did not know that the state of Victoria was capable of producing a drink of such high calibre.
