Tasting Note

This wine is deep ruby red in colour. The nose is complex with intense and persistent aromas of cherry and blackcurrant, alongside notes of dried herbs, cinnamon, cloves, cocoa and liquorice. The palate reveals a balanced structure with a lifted, elegant freshness. Soft, supple tannins lead to a long finish.

Product Notes

Fantini Farnese Edizione Cinque Autoctoni is a red wine that embodies the best of Italian winemaking. This bold and full-bodied wine is a blend of five indigenous grape varietals: Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Malvasia Nera. Each grape brings its unique flavor profile that results in a distinctive and complex wine. The nose hints at black cherries, cassis, plums, and chocolate. The palate is rich and velvety, with flavors of dark fruits, spices, and cedar wood. The wine has a long and satisfying finish, balancing acidity, tannins, and alcohol. Fantini Farnese Edizione Cinque Autoctoni is perfect for pairing with rich and savory dishes.
