Product Notes

Tormaresca Calafuria Rosato is a vibrant, pink-hued rosé wine that comes from the Salento area in the south of Italy. This wine is made with a blend of the native Negroamaro grape and the international Cabernet Sauvignon grape, grown in Tormaresca's own vineyards. The grapes are hand-picked and sorted, then fermented at low temperatures to preserve their fruitiness. The resulting wine is fresh, with aromas of wild berries, cherries, and a subtle hint of rose petals. On the palate, Tormaresca Calafuria Rosato has a crisp, clean taste, balanced by a delicate sweetness and a slightly spicy finish. This rosé is perfect for summer evenings, pairings with spicy food, or as an aperitif.

About the Winery

Tormaresca

Known as the name behind the Modern Renaissance of Puglia in the winemaking industry. The Tormaresca wine label was established in the year 1998 by the Antinori Family. A prime reason for establishing this brand was to bring out the maximum potential of the rich terroirs found in the Murgia Alo Salento regions in Apulia. Until the establishment of Tormaresca, the Apulia region was only known for the quantity of grapes it produced and not the quality. This changed after 1998!
