Tasting Note

Racy strawberries, morello cherries and haw fruit. Some cinnamon and cloves, too. Medium-to full-bodied with some white pepper and green olives. Solid, fine-grained tannins.

Achaval Ferrer Mendoza Malbec is a premium red wine produced in the Mendoza region of Argentina. This Malbec is made from hand-picked grapes that undergo a rigorous selection process before being fermented. It is then aged for 12 months in oak barrels, giving it a complex and refined taste. This full-bodied wine has strong aromas of ripe berries, currants, and spices. On the palate, it is rich and velvety, with flavors of black cherry, chocolate, and coffee. The tannins are firm and balanced, providing a long and satisfying finish. Achaval Ferrer Mendoza Malbec pairs well with grilled meats, hearty stews and strong cheeses.
