Arnaldo Caprai Vigna Flaminia Maremmana Montefalco Rosso DOC is a complex and full-bodied red wine from the heart of Umbria, Italy. This wine is made from a blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino, and Merlot grapes grown on the Vigna Flaminia Maremmana vineyard, which has been farmed biodynamically since the 1990s. The nose is full of intense aromas of dark fruit and spice, with hints of tobacco and earth. On the palate, the wine is rich and bold, with flavors of black cherry, plum, and leather, complemented by velvety tannins and a long finish. This is a wine that can be enjoyed now or aged for several years to come.

About the Winery

Arnaldo Caprai

The story of Arnaldo Caprai began in 1971 when the winery’s founder of the same name decided to make his dream and goal of establishing and operating a wine farm come true. Arnaldo was a successful and renowned textile entrepreneur. However, he always remained interested in the art and craft of winemaking. It led him to purchase 45 hectares of land in Montefalco town, the land on which the winery stands today.
