Tasting Note

The robe is Intense, deep red in colour. The nose is pure and expressive with notes of violets, black fruit and a touch of mint. On the palate, the wine is round and delicate with soft tannins, displaying generous aromas of blueberry, blackberry and cassis. Wellbalanced, with a good persistence on the finish.

Product Notes

Barons de Rothschild Lafite/Catena-Bodegas CARO Aruma is an exceptional red blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from the Uco Valley in Argentina. The delicate notes of blackberry, raspberry, and black cherry on the nose transition to the rich and complex flavors of ripe plum, black currant, and dark chocolate, with just a hint of smokiness. This ruby-red wine boasts a full-bodied texture with soft tannins and an elegant finish. The collaboration between Baron de Rothschild Lafite and Catena Zapata, two renowned wine dynasties, has resulted in a wine with fine balance, depth, and character. This wine is a worthy addition to any wine enthusiast's collection.

About the Winery

Barons de Rothschild Lafite/Catena- Bodegas CARO

The partnership between barons de Rothschild Lafite and Catena family started in 1999. It started as an idea which eventually turned into a concrete plan to create a stable wine in an effort to combine the Argentine and French cultures. This was to be done using the signature grapes of the producers. These are cabernet sauvignon and malbec.
