Intense Malbec from Argentina, awash with dark fruit and redolent of spice, thyme, smoke, mint and a lick of liquorice.

Product Notes

Trapiche Terroir Series Finca Ambrosia is a luxurious and richly flavored wine that is a true expression of the Mendoza region's unique terroir. As one of the most sought-after wines in their collection, it features a distinguished combination of deep berry flavors and hints of spice on the palate, emanating from the carefully selected Malbec grapes grown in the rustic vineyards of Finca Ambrosia. It boasts an intense and concentrated purple coloring with aromas of freshly picked cherries, blackberries, violets, and vanilla that lend it a distinct elegance. This vintage's well-crafted tannins finish smooth, signaling that it is ready to be enjoyed now or savored in the future.

About the Winery

Trapiche

Trapiche, located in the extremely wine-rich region of Mendoza in Argentina, is a winery that was set up during 1883. This area comprises of over 1000 hectares and it is not surprising to know that this winery is the largest wine producer in Argentina. When Tiburcio Benegas bought the Trapiche winery during the 1880s, it was only a very small vineyard. Today, the place, owned by Grupo Penaflor, encompasses many vineyards from the Mendoza region.
