Product Notes

Brokenwood ILR Reserve Semillon is a vintage white wine produced by the esteemed Australian winery, Brokenwood. This wine is considered as one of their top offerings, made from the best Semillon grapes grown in the Hunter Valley region. The ILR Reserve Semillon is matured for up to ten years in oak barrels, allowing it to develop a unique flavor profile. The wine offers a complex aroma and taste, with notes of lemon, lime, and grapefruit backed by hints of honey and toast. On the palate, it's full-bodied and creamy, with a long and zesty finish. This wine is best paired with seafood or Asian dishes, and it can age for up to 20 years.

About the Winery

Brokenwood

Considered as one of the best wines crafted from Australia, Brokenwood Wines is a premium wine brand that was established in 1970. Due to its popularity, today, it is one of the must-visit places in Hunter Valley. It was between 1970 and 1972 that three Sydney solicitors, Tony Albert, John Beeston and James Halliday, formed the Brokenwood Wines brand. They first planted their vines in a 10-acre plot located at the backdrop of the Brokenback Ranges.
