Tasting Note

Pale straw in colour, intense aromas of citrus and lemongrass combine with bottle age characters of lanolin and toast. The palate shows concentrated lemon and lime characters, with beautiful acidity driving through the palate showcasing the amazing length of this wonderful, aged style.

Product Notes

Mt Pleasant Lovedale Vineyard Semillon is a distinctive, premium wine made exclusively from the oldest vines at Lovedale Vineyard in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia. The vines, planted in 1946 and lovingly tended by fifth-generation grape growers, produce grapes with exceptional complexity, structure, and depth of flavour. Made using traditional winemaking techniques, this wine is fermented and aged in old oak barrels for a minimum of six months before bottling. On the palate, the wine displays nuances of lemon zest, fresh herbs, and a delicate minerality, with a long, crisp finish. Enjoy it now or cellar for up to a decade. It is a rare and collectable wine, perfect for wine lovers and connoisseurs who appreciate the finest expressions of terroir.
