Tasting Note

To underscore the enticing complexity of this cool-climate Viognier, it was crafted using a combination of neutral French oak barrels, stainless steel and concrete tank. Alluring aromas of honeysuckle, white peach and citrus are echoed on the palate, where they mingle with luxurious notes of lemon meringue and jasmine that glide to a bright, zesty finish.

About the Winery

Calera was founded in 1975 by Josh Jensen in California’s Gabilan Mountains on the Central Coast. Inspired by Burgundy’s limestone-rich vineyards, Jensen sought to prove that California could produce world-class, terroir-driven Pinot Noir. Over the past four decades, Calera has become internationally respected for elegant, complex wines that showcase the Central Coast terroir.
