About the Winery

Comando G

Comando G is a pioneering winery located in the Sierra de Gredos mountain range, near Madrid, Spain. Founded by Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi and Fernando García, the winery focuses on producing small quantities of exceptional Garnacha (Grenache) wines that highlight the unique terroir of this high-altitude region. The pair sought to rejuvenate the area’s ancient viticulture, where old, gnarled vines, some over 100 years old, thrive on steep, rocky, and granitic soils. Their commitment to sustainability, organic farming, and minimal intervention winemaking allows the distinct character of Gredos’ microclimates to shine through in each bottle.
