Blended from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, Sophia is named after the founder's mother, who was an inspiration and advocate for his dream to own a vineyard. Each bottle is produced in limited quantities to ensure the highest quality and character in every sip. The wine boasts a velvety texture with aromas of ripe black fruits, herbs, and spices, leading to a rich and complex palate with notes of oak and dark chocolate. About the Winery

Craggy Range

The Craggy Range wine brand belongs to the historic Hawkes Bay region in New Zealand. It was set up in 1993 by the Peabody couple (Terry and Mary) with the sole aim to create a family legacy that could be run for many generations to come.  Since Terry didn’t want to cultivate vines on any existing vineyard, the couple zeroed in on the bare yet fertile land of New Zealand to set up its vineyard. The brilliant climatic conditions and the soil quality in this country gave wings to the Peabody couple’s winemaking dreams.
