De Trafford Blueprint Syrah is a bold and complex wine that is a true reflection of its unique terroir. Produced using carefully selected grapes from the family's Stellenbosch vineyards, this Syrah is made in limited quantities, ensuring exceptional quality. On the nose, aromas of dark berries, black pepper, and a hint of vanilla greet you. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and richly textured, with flavors of blackcurrant, black cherry, and hints of spice. The tannins are firm yet velvety, providing a long and complex finish. This is a wine to be savored slowly, and one that will only improve with age.

About the Winery

De Trafford

The De Trafford family winery was established in 1992. Wine architect David Trafford and his wife, Rita, founded this small wine company with an objective to specialise in producing the highest quality of red wines. This winery is located in the scenic Upper Blaauwklippen Road, at the backdrop of the beautiful Stellenbosch Mountains in South Africa.
