Spier Signature Shiraz is a rich and robust red wine from South Africa's Stellenbosch region. This wine is made from 100% Shiraz grapes and has a deep purple color. It offers aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and vanilla on the nose, while its palate features flavors of black cherry, dark chocolate, espresso, and black pepper. The tannins are firm yet silky, and this wine has a long and complex finish. Spier Signature Shiraz is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, which gives it a subtle smoky note. This wine pairs well with grilled meats, hearty stews, and sharp cheeses.
