Product Notes

Fairview Paarl Pinotage is a deep ruby colored wine with a complex aroma of black cherries, plums, and oak spices. On the palate, it provides a beautiful balance of fruit and tannins that give the wine great structure and depth. The flavors range from juicy dark berries to subtle hints of clove and cinnamon which linger on the finish. This wine has a surprising freshness for a medium-bodied wine and is an excellent pairing with a wide range of dishes, from grilled meats to hearty stews. About the Winery

Fairview

Located in the Paarl region in the province of Western Cape, the South African Fairview wine brand is owned by Charles Back, who also owns other popular brands such as Goats Do Roam Wine Company and The Spice Route Winery. In 1902, Charles Louis Back purchased the current Fairview wine estate and property from its previous owner. Today, the Back family’s Fairview farm covers 320 hectares, out of which 12o hectares are under vines.
