Tasting Note

On the nose, lifted aromas of red cherry, wildflowers and orange peel mingle with earthier notes of wood smoke and spice. The palate is full-bodied with a juicy core of red berry fruit, structured by fine tannins and revitalising acidity. The finish is long and complex.

Product Notes

Finca Museum La Renacida is a historic winery nestled in the heart of Rioja, Spain. Built in the late 19th century, the winery is surrounded by 100 hectares of vineyards that produce some of the region's finest grapes. The estate comprises a collection of beautifully restored buildings that now house a museum, event space, and a state-of-the-art winemaking facility. Visitors can explore the museum and learn about the rich history and wine-making traditions of the Rioja region, before tasting some of the award-winning wines for themselves. The estate also features charming gardens and outdoor terraces, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the sunshine.

About the Winery

Finca Museum

The history and story of the Finca Museum start with its founder and owner, Grupo Barón de Ley. Around the end of the 1990s, Grupo decided to extend and expand the Rioja Qualified Appellation of Origin (DOCa). He searched and scouted numerous regions before falling in love with the Designation of Origin (DO) of Cigales. The territory remained linked with a long-standing tradition and history of vine-growing and wine-making. In addition, it possessed an immense heritage with ancient parcels and vineyards.
