Cherry color with purple rim indicating youth. High aromatic intensity, with aroma of ripe fruits well assembled with wood that brings aromas of sweet spices and pleasant toasted notes. It is an enveloping wine, tasty, balanced, with finesse and pleasant maturity. End of mouth with memories of ripe fruit.

Aged for 14 months in barrels, this wine has a rich and complex flavor profile with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco, and vanilla. Its medium body and gentle tannins provide a smooth finish that lingers on the palate, making it an ideal wine to savor on its own or paired with hearty meals. Produced by one of the most renowned wineries in Spain, Bodega Protos Ribera Del Duero Crianza is a true expression of the unique terroir of Ribera Del Duero region in Spain.

Bodega Protos

Protos, in Greek, means “first”. The wines of Bodega Protos strive to be exactly that – the first in quality and precision. It was during 1927 that this label was set up with the help of the local vine growers in the region of Camino Bodegas Protos in Valladolid in Spain. Within a couple of years of inception, the Protos red wine was awarded a gold medal at the World Exposition in Barcelona, a great start to the brand name, indeed!
