A deep dark red color with violet tints. Complex aromas of dark fruit with cassis, hints of cedar and spice. A core of concentrated and delicious black fruits is framed by light toasty oak and ripe tannins which continues into a long, ultrasmooth finish.

Made from Syrah grapes that have been carefully selected and grown in the Maipo Valley, this wine has a rich and robust flavor that is enhanced by its aging in oak barrels for 18 months. The color is a deep garnet that is full of depth and complexity, while the aroma is a complex mix of black fruit, tobacco, and oak. About the Winery

Cousiño Macul

Cousiño Macul’s history dates back to 1760. However, it was not until the winery’s founder Luis Cousiño obtained the 1000-hectare land of Hacienda Macul in Chile in 1856 that its original tale began. Since then, his winemaking legacy started to acquire a fundamental shape. It gradually grew to the state it is today. In recent times, Cousiño Macul is the only winery with a 19th-century origin that remains under the possession of its founding family.
