Tasting Note

Dark garnet color. Aromas and flavors of stone fruits, especially cherries, and even kirsch with age. The wines are structured, mineral and very good aging. Nice spicy note.

Product Notes

Domaine Dominique Piron Morgon Côte du Py is a red wine produced in the Beaujolais region of France. The wine is made using 100% Gamay grapes grown on the slopes of the Côte du Py vineyard, known for its unique and complex soils that result in a distinctive terroir. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 months and then bottled, resulting in a structured and complex wine with rich aromas of black fruit, spice, and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with firm tannins and a long finish. Domaine Dominique Piron Morgon Côte du Py is a perfect match for hearty meals such as roasted meats or stews.

About the Winery

Domaine Dominique Piron

The venture started with the family-owned 10-hectare land that Dominique Piron used to set his course for a bigger picture. He aspires to produce wines that represent the origin of their terroirs with their elegant, fruity, and subtle character.
