Tasting Note
Medium-bodied northern Rhone white, more on the texture than the aromatic fruit. Think lanolin, then add beeswax and marzipan and maybe a touch of pear.
Product Notes
Domaine du Monteillet Saint-Joseph Blanc is a wine made from a blend of Marsanne and Roussanne grapes grown in the Saint-Joseph appellation in Northern Rhône, France. The vineyard is composed of a mix of granite and limestone soils, which give the wine a unique minerality and complexity. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, developing a beautiful balance between the fruit and the oak. It is a dry, medium-bodied white wine with flavors of ripe peach, honey, and vanilla, with a refreshing acidity and a long finish. This wine is perfect to pair with seafood, white meats, or creamy pasta dishes.
