Gaja Pieve Santa Restituta Brunello di Montalcino is a red wine from the Brunello di Montalcino region in Tuscany, Italy. This wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes and is aged for 24 months in oak barrels, followed by an additional 12 months in the bottle before release. It has a deep ruby color with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and spice. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied with flavors of dark fruit, vanilla, and oak. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, leading to a long, smooth finish. This wine pairs well with hearty meat dishes and aged cheeses.

About the Winery

Gaja

Established in 1859, Gaja is a family-owned winery in Italy. Giovanni Gaja founded this winery, and his great-grandson, Angelo Gaja runs the estate today. The family produces grapes in the 250 acres of vineyards it owns in Italy's popular wine region, Piedmont. This estate is located exactly in the districts of Barbaresco and Barolo.
