Tasting Note

Hints of spices and violets. A lovely drinkable young wine with elegant and melting tannins.

Product Notes

Montirius Gigondas La Tour is a classic example of a Southern Rhône wine. It is a red blend of Grenache and Syrah grapes, which are sourced from the rocky vineyards in the Gigondas area. The wine is aged for 16 months in oak barrels, allowing it to develop complex flavors and aromas of blackcurrant, cedar, and peppery spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and good acidity, making it a perfect wine to pair with grilled meats and hearty stews. Overall, Montirius Gigondas La Tour is a well-balanced wine that showcases the best of the Southern Rhône region.
