Tasting Note

Supple and concentrated, with forest fruits underpinned by mocha, cigar box and a delicious earthiness. Mouth coating tannins lead to an extraordinarily long finish.

Product Notes

Mount Langi Ghiran Mast Shiraz is a high-quality red wine made from 100% Shiraz grapes grown in the cool-climate vineyards of western Victoria, Australia. This wine is renowned for its deep, dark color and complex flavor profile that is both rich and elegant. The nose exhibits aromas of dark fruits, blackberry jam, vanilla, and spice. The palate is full-bodied and robust, with flavors of ripe blackberry, plum, and chocolate, backed up by complex spice notes. This wine is beautifully balanced with fine tannins and a long finish. Mount Langi Ghiran Mast Shiraz pairs beautifully with hearty meat dishes and rich sauces.

About the Winery

Mount Langi Ghiran

Known for its iconic Shiraz grape varietal, Mount Langi Ghiran is regarded as one of the finest cool-climate wines of Australia. The land came to be known for its premium quality of Shiraz, during 1970, when the Fratin brothers from Italy (Don, Lino and Serge) planted their first vines on Mount Langi Ghiran.  In the subsequent years, separate blocks were allocated in this vineyard for other varietals too.
