Tasting Note

An elegant and refined Shiraz, with an abundance of raspberry and cranberry fruit layered with perfumed notes of violet, spice and plum. The red fruits drive through the palate with intensity and focus supported by subtle oak.

Product Notes

Mount Pleasant Rosehill Shiraz is a premium wine that impresses with its deep ruby red color and intense flavor. A flagship wine from the iconic Mount Pleasant Winery in Hunter Valley, this Shiraz is crafted using the finest grapes carefully selected from the Rosehill vineyard. On the nose, it exudes a rich aroma of dark fruits, spice, and chocolate, which is followed by a velvety smooth texture on the palate with notes of blackberry, cherry, and licorice. The wine is matured for 16 months in French oak barrels, imparting a subtle vanillin oak character. It is a perfect complement to red meat dishes, barbecue, and matured cheeses.
