Product Notes

Rodney Strong Vineyards Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich and full-bodied wine that showcases the best of the Alexander Valley AVA. Crafted from the finest grapes, this wine has intense aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and cassis, accented by notes of vanilla and oak. On the palate, it is complex and layered with flavors of dark fruit, espresso, and chocolate, balanced by firm tannins and a long finish. This wine is aged in French oak barrels for 20 months, adding to its depth and complexity. It is a perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, hearty stews, and strong cheeses. A true Alexander Valley gem, the Rodney Strong Vineyards Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a must-try for any wine lover.

About the Winery

Rodney Strong Vineyards

The story of Rodney Strong Vineyards began in 1959 when the winery’s founder Rodney S. Strong retired from his dancing career. He married Charlotte Ann Winson, his dance accompanist and partner, and started his life in the winemaking art and industry. His venture into the new field led him to Sonoma County. There he realised the value and potential of the land that could lead to unmatched diversity and world-class standards of the planted vines.
