Tasting Note

Indulge in the dark purple allure of Farvie Syrah. Aromas of whortleberry, aronia, and purple grape lead to notes of clove, star anise, lily, musk, leather, and iron. The palate is super-refined, intensely flavoured, and succulent, with delicate powdery tannins. Evolving gracefully over 15 years, this wine harmoniously embodies greatness.

Product Notes

Swinney Farvie Syrah is a luxurious and sophisticated red wine, carefully crafted in the heart of the Napa Valley. With a deep, vibrant purple hue and intense aromas of ripe blackberries, plums, and dark chocolate, this wine offers a rich and complex flavor profile. Notes of black pepper, licorice, and toasted oak add layers of depth and complexity, while smooth tannins and a velvety texture provide a lingering, elegant finish. Perfect for special occasions or a quiet evening at home, Swinney Farvie Syrah is sure to impress even the most discerning wine connoisseurs with its exceptional quality and exquisite taste.

About the Winery

Swinney

Swinney is a family-owned, fourth-generation winery located in the Frankland River region of Western Australia. The property, originally settled by George Swinney in 1922, began its viticultural journey in 1998 when the family planted their first vines. Today, Matt and Janelle Swinney oversee both vineyard management and wine production, combining a deep respect for tradition with a modern, meticulous approach to winemaking.
